About EnergyTrust
While utility costs continue to fluctuate at unpredictable rates, healthcare facilities and other organizations face increased demands for energy. HealthTrust’s solution - EnergyTrust saves members millions of dollars through leveraged buying of deregulated natural gas and electricity.
In fact, in 2013 alone, HealthTrust members had a combined savings of over $30 million for electric and natural gas. EnergyTrust procures natural gas, electricity and facility services for participants to provide reliable, cost-effective sources of energy to support the delivery of services, at materially lower costs than participants could obtain individually, and at predictable costs to facilitate financial planning and sustainable operations.
Some of EnergyTrust's unique program features include national coverage through HealthTrust agreements with suppliers, cost structure superior to fee-based consultants, and customized hedging strategies to minimize cost volatility. Over 850 facilities are contracted with them for natural gas and over 200 for electricity. EnergyTrust also offers services for energy consulting and Utility Bill Pay, providing data capture and reporting to support energy management. Note: Energy consulting and Utility Bill Pay services are available to all markets, regardless of whether or not the electric and natural gas markets are deregulated.
